Laredo runs close to three hundred growing days a year, so a lawn here needs cutting for most of the calendar. Skip two weeks in July and Bermuda goes to seed while weeds take the thin spots. We run weekly routes through the growing season and drop to biweekly once growth slows in late fall.
Every visit includes the mow, line trimming around beds, fences and posts, hard edging along walks and drives, and a blow-down of every hard surface before we pull out. You should not be able to tell we were there except that the yard looks better.

Cut height decides how much you water
In Laredo heat, mowing height is a water decision as much as a looks decision. Taller grass shades its own root zone and holds soil moisture measurably longer, which matters in a semi-arid climate where irrigation is the biggest cost in keeping a lawn alive.
Bermuda wants a shorter cut than St. Augustine, and both want to be raised through the worst of summer. We set the deck for the grass you actually have and raise it when the heat arrives, rather than running one height all year.

How often should my lawn be mowed in Laredo?
Weekly through the growing season, which here runs from roughly the February frost date into December. Once growth slows in late fall, every other week is usually enough. We adjust as growth slows rather than charging for cuts the lawn does not need.
Do I need to be home for service?
No. As long as we have gate access we will take care of it and you will come home to a finished yard. If a gate is locked, just let us know the code or leave it open on your service day.
Do you haul the clippings away?
For a routine mow we mulch clippings back into the lawn, which returns nitrogen and helps the turf hold moisture. For heavy growth or a first cleanup cut, we bag and haul it off.
